CASA is having a shoe drive this Fall to raise funds and awareness. We will be collecting used or new shoes of any kind (kids, athletic, adult, dress, boots, sandals but not roller blades or skates). @funds2orgs will pay CASA for the shoes we collect.
Did you know that 300 million pairs of shoes go in landfills every year? These are shoes that could be re-worm or used for recycling materials in places where goods are scarce or not affordable.
In the next few weeks, we will share drop off locations in and around Birmingham. The drive will run through October so clean out those closets! Please share with your church, workplace or neighborhood groups. We will pick up bulk collections!
