I pray that you all are helpful and not harmful. That you get to know both the parents and the children and do not simply go off of the twisted lies that DHR workers and Foster Parents put on paper to ensure their funding for snatching children out of homes. That you help those in this position however they have gotten there and in the end, then and only then form your opinion on where the child is best suited. If you have a mom that has been a victim of domestic violence, work with her, help her, and be compassionate towards her, help ensure that she can feel safe to move forward and away from whomever is abusing her. Not condemn her for moving out of the area where the abuser can get to her, especially when she still makes every weekly visit, every opportunity to see her children.
